Hunan’s Chinese Restaurant at 1720 Mount Rushmore Road in Rapid City, invites you to discover China!

Enjoy our elegant dining room with all of decorating done in Chinese expertise. You may start with a glass of wine or beer to enhance your dining experience. Our Chef “Li” was trained in the World famous Canton China Culinary School in Guangzhou. Li’s signature entrée is Peking Duck which must be ordered 48 hours in advance.

Our most popular dishes are Orange Chicken, Plum Tree Duck (delicately seasoned and sautéed in a special house plum sauce and served with broccoli); Hunan Crispy Jumbo Spicy Shrimp (coated and fried in light batter and cooked with special spices); and Hunan Beef (tender slices sautéed with broccoli, water chestnuts, mushrooms, baby corn, bamboo shoots and Chinese cabbage in garlic and special hot sauce).

Order Cantonese, Mandarin, Hunan, Szechwan, Hong Kong or American from the full-service menu or you may choose to enjoy the gourmet buffet. For your convenience we also have take out and delivery. Hunan’s can also cater your events. Our prices range from $7.99 for lunches to $10.99 for dinner. You do not need reservations but they are suggested for large groups.

Hunan’s Restaurant has received Chamber of Commerce awards for it’s landscaping and has continued to receive top ratings from the health department. Locally owned and operated, Hunan’s opens daily at 11 a.m. each day.
